Welcome to the Trump Taj Mahal

On April 2, 1990, Donald J. Trump unveiled the Trump TAJ Mahal Casino Resort. Unprecedented in craftsmanship and opulence, the awe-inspiring architectural masterpiece is filled with the finest carpets, chandeliers and works of art in the tradition of the world's most grand and enchanting palaces. Among the billion dollar property's most remarkable statistics. One of the largest casinos in the world, with slot machines, gaming tables, poker tables and a state-of-the-art simulcast facility. The Trump TAJ Mahal covers over 17 acres of prime Boardwalk real estate with 4.2 million square feet of enclosed space. A city within a city, the world's most elegant and expansive themed suites with magnificent ocean views, individual spas, butler service and the private, bi-level Maharajah Club for intimate gatherings, light dining, reading and relaxation. 1,250 guest rooms, including 237 suites are housed in the hotel tower. Nine restaurants can accommodate 3,000 diners at any given time. That number increases if all the banquet facilities are fully utilized. 140,000 square feet of convention and exhibit space, including 22 meeting rooms and three ballrooms, the largest measuring 30,000 square feet. The 63,000 square foot Mark G. Etess Arena can accommodate up to 325, 8' x 10' exhibition booths. The arena can also seat over 5,000 people for concerts and sporting events. A state-of-the-art Health Club and Fitness Center with a near Olympic-sized indoor pool. The spa also offers Jacuzzi, steam baths, tanning booths and sundecks. The motor coach terminal can accommodate 22 full-size buses. ...read more

Apprentices, take note: "as glitzy as they come", with million-dollar chandeliers and seven two-ton stone elephants, the Taj "is still one of AC's best" say its bauble-loving fans; the "over-the-top" atmosphere, plus a lineup of entertainers including the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Marc Anthony and Mariah Carey create "a good time" for most, despite an "attitude that's getting old" and dining that "needs improvement."

Plenty of shops & restaurants. Great Ocean view from room.
Rude front desk rep and the bathroom - cracked tile, peeling paint on door, broken faucet.

Fabulous time - spacious room - big comfortable bed, great ocean view, delicious dinner at Dynasty restaurant, convenient Starbucks for breakfast and convenient to Boardwalk.

Room was fine, good linens and
nice bathroom.
Hallways were dirty, carpet was worn and a
rowdy crowd.

Gave us an upgrade to a suite at no charge, employees were great.
Nothing, best get away ever.

My husband just arrived at Fort Dix, NJ, 3 days prior to our stay. We told the desk clerk at check-in and asked for a possible upgrade, she asked her manager and we were given an ocean view suite, 4 free breakfasts at the buffet restaurant in the hotel and money to gamble with at no extra charge. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. we ate at a couple of restaurants at their hotel and I have no complaints. We were right on the boardwalk and didn't move our car once in 3 days. best getaway we ever had. Loved it! ...read more

Bed comfort and the friendly security guard in front of the guest elevators in the Lobby. Doorman very friendly.
The room was not inspected properly and was passed for sale with many items missing.

It took front desk at least 10 min to assign the room. We were given an room with the following deficiencies : Hairdryer missing, iron and ironing board missing, bath tub caulking with mildew, Bathroom door very dirty and closing mechanism not working properly. The door hit my shoulder 2 times. Carpet stained, bed skirt torn, one nightstand lamp missing. Bathroom amenities very limited. Voice mail did not work. Doors of HK closets not secured. Elevator floors very dirty. ...read more

The staff made us feel welcome and the room was comfortable and elegant with a great ocean view.

The staff was friendly and very helpful from check in to check out. The room in the Chairman's Tower was elegant and spacious. The bathroom was huge with a vanity area, mirror and huge walk in shower and double sinks. The room had wireless internet and the only disappointment was that there was a cost for it. The casino was clean and neat and even didn't smell like smoke. I'd love to go back again. ...read more
